The Flego, first produced in 1991 and ended in 1998, was essentially a stretched out Willrose. About 23 inches longer, it was a 5-door hatchback that shared the same qualities. Still small enough for comfy city driving, but big enough to go on roadtrips, reliable, and relatively cheap. There were 3 models for the Flego; the 1.9L, 2.3L, and the Flego S 4WD. The 1.9L and 2.3L engines came directly from the Willrose, but were reworked to account for the increased technology. Overall, they made about 7% more power, were more reliable, had greater efficiency, all for reportedly $17 more compared to the first gen. The 1.9L and 2.3L came with a 5 speed transmission and front wheel drive, while the 4WD model, which used the same 2.3L engine, came with a 6 speed. H.A. made higher performance Flego's from 1993-1996, called the Flego P and Flego PT. Standard with exterior touchups, such as chrome door handles, lower suspension, wider tires, and a new bumper up front. Inside, it used the same 2 engines as the Willrose 2.3P and PT. However, with higher quality components it produced roughly 10% more HP, and with the help of VVT in the Flego PT, it achieved the same MPG in the city as the 1.9L. The Flego wasn't as renowned as the Willrose, but still sold well and gave Harrbol many ideas for the future about what the company should produce.
